General Settings tab
Use this tab to set a working folder for temporary storage of exported images, and to specify whether to skip the first page of each document.
- Name
-
Enter a name for your export connector. This name appears on the list of export connectors in your application. This field is not required, but may help you keep track of export connectors if you use the Kofax Capture multiple export feature. Maximum length is 32 characters.
- Export working directory
-
Enter the path for a temporary storage location to copy document images at export time. (Or, you can browse to the directory). The export working directory should be available to all workstations (for example, a shared network folder). After the file transfer is complete, all temporary files and folders are automatically deleted from this directory.
- Skip first page of each document
-
Discards the first page of each document from the image at export time. You may want to do this if you are using standalone separator sheets to separate documents. See Skip first page behavior for more information.
- Multi-value separator (applicable to document and folder class properties)
-
This export connector supports properties that contain multiple values. Use this setting to specify the delimiter to separate the values when entering multiple values for the document and folder class properties. By default, a comma (,) is used as the multi-value separator. You can enter up to two characters as the delimiter.
Only valid printable ASCII characters can be used. For more information about valid characters, see Multi-value separators.
The multi-value separator should not be part of your value. For example, if you specify a period (.) as one of the values, and you also specify the period as the multi-value separator, the export connector assumes the value is the separator. In addition, if you use the multi-value separator for a single-value property, the literal string is used.
- Exclude retry information from error log
-
Excludes retry information from the error log if the export process fails and has to be retried. This setting may be useful if you prefer to minimize the number of entries in the error log.
