Changing the Image Color
Change the color of an image after scanning. The image is saved in the color mode that you specify.
- B & W: Converts an image to black and white
- Grayscale: Converts an image to grayscale
- Color: Converts an image to color
The availability of color mode settings depends on the color mode used to scan the image. For example, if you scan an image in black and white, it cannot be converted to color.
Note The color conversion settings are available only while the Adjust Quality On Every Page or Adjust Quality On Warnings operating mode is active.
-
On the
Image Quality tab, in the
Manual Adjustments group, do one of the following:
-
If the image was scanned in black and white, click Grayscale.
-
If the image was scanned in grayscale, click B & W.
-
If the image was scanned in color, click B & W or Grayscale.
The image is converted to the selected color.
-
- Adjust other settings or continue scanning.
