Using the ODBC Data Writer component
This component can use RRTs generated from any component in the workflow process. Prior to designing a workflow, you must consider the available RRTs and their usage for workflow tracking purposes. Examples include:
- Cost accounting by tracking of user menu usage on the MFP and copier devices. Set up this component to log a record per menu option selected by a user.
- Cost recovery by tracking of activities related to files routed to a LAN Fax server. Log the associated billing codes used in fax operations.
